Glasfaserkern statt Papierkern.

Glass-fibre core instead of paper core.

Herkömmlicher Schichtstoff hat einen Kern aus harzgetränktem Papier. Das Protection Board hat einen behandelten, patentierten Glasfaserkern. Er ist der Grund für die Klassifizierung A2 und erhöht Steifigkeit und Stoßfestigkeit. Bei Uni-, Holz-, Stein- und Fantasiedekoren sind Vorder- und Rückseite identisch aufgebaut; bei einem sichtbaren Mangel kann die andere Seite verwendet werden. Bei Metalloberflächen ist nur die A-Seite Sichtseite; die B-Seite ist ein Metall-Gegenzug gleicher Stärke.

Conventional laminate has a core of resin-impregnated paper. The Protection Board has a treated, patented glass-fibre core. It is the reason for the A2 classification and increases stiffness and impact resistance. For plain, wood, stone and fantasy decors, front and back are built identically; if one face shows a visible defect, the other can be used. For metal surfaces only the A side is the visible face; the B side is a metal balancing layer of equal thickness.

Die dekodur® Collection 2026 umfasst 19 Echtmetall-Dekore in fünf Strukturen, darunter die beiden Patina-Dekore AD01 Cineris und AD02 Aerugo. Jedes ist in der Aluminium-Ausführung des Protection Board lieferbar; die strukturierten Dekore im Format 2440 × 1220 mm, die glatten Metalle auch in 3050 × 1220 mm. Daneben stehen die Unifarben sowie Holz- und Steindekore des dekodur® Programms in der Melamin-Ausführung zur Wahl.

The dekodur® Collection 2026 comprises 19 real-metal decors in five textures, including the two patina decors AD01 Cineris and AD02 Aerugo. Each is available in the aluminium version of the Protection Board; the textured decors in 2440 × 1220 mm, the smooth metals also in 3050 × 1220 mm. In addition, the plain colours and wood and stone decors of the dekodur® range are available in the melamine version.

Die Platten werden vollflächig mit dem Spezialkleber HENSOMASTIK® K 2000 auf den vorbereiteten Untergrund geklebt. Der Kleber ist selbst als A2-s1,d0 klassifiziert (bei 400 g/m²) und bis 750 °C hitzebeständig.
